Operations Manager
Do you have a proven track record of successful operational leadership - ideally in a church or charity setting?
We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our church operations function at a strategic and management level to support the operation and ministry of Doncaster Minster as a place of worship and a premier heritage and cultural venue. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader to help turn Doncaster Minster’s vision into reality.
The Minster is currently beginning an exciting new phase of its life, with a new Vicar now in post, and funding from the national Church to recruit a new staff team. The Operations Manager will play a vital role in this project, working closely with the Vicar and senior team to oversee operational aspects of the Minster’s role as a place of worship and its growing involvement in the heritage and cultural sectors, and contributing to exciting plans for the renewal of its buildings. The role will include leading the operations team, helping implement our vision and providing specialist input in key areas of responsibility.

Full-Time - 35 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm. There will be occasions when the post holder is required to work outside normal office hours.
FTC - initially for 2 years. There is a strong possibility that the post will be renewable for a further 3 years, but we are not currently in a position to give guarantees.
£36,000–40,000, dependent on experience
- Generous Pension Scheme
- Generous Holiday Entitlement; 28 days FTE plus Public Holidays
