About DOSH

DOSH is a growing e-money and payments product focused on delivering simple, accessible financial services. As DOSH moves from launch into its next phase of growth, we are strengthening our operational capability, governance, controls and ways of working so the product can scale effectively.

About The Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to provide operational leadership, structure and delivery discipline across DOSH. This is a high-accountability role for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, turning plans into action and keeping activity moving across multiple teams.

Reporting to the Head of DOSH, you will work closely with Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk, Information Security, Product, IT, Client Services, Finance and wider allpay teams to ensure the DOSH operating model is effective, resilient and appropriate for a regulated financial services environment.

Please note that this primarily an office-based role worked from both our Hereford and Cheltenham Offices.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Developing, documenting and continuously improving the DOSH operating model.
  • Reviewing processes, controls and ways of working to improve effectiveness, resilience and scalability.
  • Coordinating key DOSH initiatives, project plans, action trackers, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
  • Supporting governance, operational control, audit, assurance and regulatory remediation activity.
  • Producing clear management information, dashboards, briefing papers and decision materials.
  • Working across Product, Technology, Customer Operations, Finance, Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk and Information Security to turn specialist input into practical plans.
  • Identifying automation and process improvement opportunities, including use of AI, Power Automate and other tools.
  • Providing clear updates, recommendations and escalation to the Head of DOSH where leadership input is required.

About You

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Experience in operational management, programme management, business management or delivery leadership.
  • Experience working in a regulated or controlled environment.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional activity across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
  • A good understanding of governance, operational risk, controls and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear reporting and briefing materials.
  • Confidence to work independently, exercise judgement and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through and practical problem-solving.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have:

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, payments or e-money.
  • Experience within an FCA-regulated organisation.
  • Knowledge of compliance, financial crime, operational resilience, risk or assurance activity.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executive teams.
