Operations Manager | Hybrid | East Sussex | Competitive Salary

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with an established travel business who are recruiting an Operations Manager to join their team.

The Role:

As Operations Manager, you will lead, manage and develop a team of Senior Delivery Executives, overseeing operational performance, workload and resource planning. You will ensure consistently high standards of customer service and operational delivery, while supporting with complex customer issues and driving improvements across the Delivery function.

You Will Have:

  • Strong operational experience within educational or group travel
  • Proven people management experience, with the ability to coach, develop and lead through others
  • Experience managing team performance against objectives and KPIs
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with experience handling complex customer and operational issues
  • A proactive approach to improving processes, systems and ways of working
  • Good commercial awareness

Additional Info:

  • Salary depending on experience
  • Hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in the East Sussex office
  • Up to 25 days' annual leave depending on service
