Operations Manager

Location: City of London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join a well-established and highly reputable property brand, based at a prestigious commercial property in the heart of the City of London.

The successful candidate will form part of a dedicated on-site management team responsible for an impressive 250,000+ sq. ft. commercial office building, working closely alongside the Building Manager and Technical Services Manager on this high-profile asset.

This is a highly visible, occupier-focused position that will play an important part in the day-to-day operation of the building. You will work closely with a range of blue-chip tenants, helping to deliver an exceptional occupier experience while ensuring the property operates smoothly and consistently maintains the highest standards.

The role will also have a strong focus on tenant engagement, including supporting the delivery of on-site events and initiatives designed to create an engaging and high-quality workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Building Manager with the day-to-day operational management of a 300,000+ sq. ft. commercial property
  • Acting as a key point of contact for occupiers and developing strong relationships with blue-chip tenants
  • Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service and occupier experience throughout the building
  • Supporting and coordinating tenant engagement activities, events, and on-site initiatives
  • Overseeing contractors and service partners and monitoring standards of service delivery
  • Working closely with the Technical Services Manager on operational and building services matters
  • Supporting health & safety, compliance, and building management procedures
  • Monitoring the presentation and operation of front-of-house and common areas
  • Responding to occupier requests and ensuring issues are managed through to resolution
  • Supporting the management and delivery of planned works and operational projects
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the occupier experience and improve the day-to-day operation of the asset
  • Working collaboratively with the wider on-site team to maintain a best-in-class commercial environment

The successful candidate will have previous experience within the operational management of a high-quality commercial property, ideally within a large multi-occupied office environment.

You will need to be highly personable and comfortable developing relationships with senior stakeholders and blue-chip occupiers, while also having a strong understanding of the operational requirements of a major commercial building.

A proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a genuine focus on customer service and occupier experience will be essential.
