DP World Operations Manager Opportunity
DP World are looking for a Operations Manager for our new multi-user operation Coventry 220 based in Segro Park. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation, inspire high-performing teams and play a key role in delivering exceptional service for multiple customers.
About the Role
- Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused performance.
- Manage and develop Team Leaders and Supervisors, creating an engaged and high-performing team.
- Deliver operational KPIs across productivity, quality, service, and cost.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
- Monitor warehouse processes, inventory, and administrative functions to ensure operational excellence.
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as the operational lead for customer-related activities.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Health & Safety, Finance, and wider site leadership teams.
Your Key Skills
- Experience leading warehouse or contract logistics operations in an Operations Manager capacity.
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with new site/customer launches would be highly desirable.
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
