Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is looking for an Operations Manager, Group Residences to join our Group Residences team.

About The Job

Based within the Group Residences Department in London or Hong Kong, the Operations Manager, Group Residences is responsible for supporting branded residential projects and operational initiatives across the global portfolio. The role supports development, pre-opening, operational excellence, reporting, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategic projects. The Operations Manager, Group Residences reports to the Director, Group Residences.

  • Supporting the delivery of operational excellence and strategic initiatives across Mandarin Oriental's global residences portfolio.
  • Supporting residential projects globally throughout development, pre-opening, opening, and operational phases.
  • Assisting with portfolio growth initiatives, operational programmes, and strategic departmental projects.
  • Conducting operational, financial, and industry research and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Supporting budget preparation, expense tracking, management fee reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining operational reports, presentations, manuals, standards, and collateral materials.
  • Supporting implementation of operational technology programmes and digital solutions.
  • Assisting with operational audits, compliance reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and sustainability programmes.
  • Supporting developer, owner, board, and stakeholder communications.
  • Contributing to the development and standardisation of residential operating procedures across the portfolio.
  • Assisting with new project openings, operational readiness activities, and residential training initiatives.
  • Supporting residential marketing initiatives and owner engagement programmes.

As Operations Manager, Group Residences, We Expect From You

An organised and analytical professional with luxury hospitality or residential operations experience and the ability to work across a global portfolio.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury residential, community management, hospitality operations, or related environments.
  • Strong analytical, financial, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High level of proficiency in PowerPoint, reporting, presentations, and business documentation.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Experience supporting operational projects, property openings, or portfolio initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexible working hours to support a global portfolio and international stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
