At WPS, we're committed to delivering high-quality services that make a real difference to the communities we serve. We're looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our Responsive Maintenance team in Winchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a multi-million-pound maintenance contract, driving operational performance, customer satisfaction, commercial success, and team development. Working closely with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
🔨 About The Role
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a responsive maintenance, ensuring contractual KPIs, commercial targets, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
You'll lead a diverse team across operational, commercial, and support functions, creating a positive culture that encourages performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of responsive maintenance operations
- Ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably
- Managing operational performance against agreed KPIs and service standards
- Developing work programmes that maximise resources and drive successful delivery
- Building, managing and developing high-performing teams
- Working collaboratively with commercial teams to achieve financial targets and maximise profitability
- Managing client relationships and supporting business growth opportunities
- Driving a culture of health, safety, quality, and compliance across all activities
- Producing operational and performance reports for senior leadership and clients
- Supporting contract mobilisation activities and service improvements
- Deputising for the Operations Director when required
