Operations Manager (Holiday Camps)

FIFTH Movement is a leading Physical Education and School Sport provider, working with primary schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, and local authorities across Greater Manchester. Our Holiday Camps are a core part of the business and a major growth area, and we are looking for a Holiday Camp Operations Manager to take full ownership of this area of the business.

LOCATION: Manchester (HQ, Hale)

SALARY: £32,000 - £36,000

CONTRACT: Full time, permanent

REPORTS TO: Operations Director

Our mission is to build lifelong healthy habits in children through movement and our holiday camps help us achieve this mission.

We are a small business growing fast. This role is built for someone who wants the ownership and pace of an SME and the chance to grow as the business grows.

The Opportunity

You will own three connected streams, year-round:

  • HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) delivery, where you manage funded provision, grant applications, reporting, and local authority relationships.
  • Parent-paid camps, where you drive bookings, occupancy, and revenue.
  • Compliance, where you are accountable for safeguarding and quality, with a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements.

You will build the programme, not just run it, shaping policies, systems, and growth, whilst managing a team. As we scale, this role can scale into a senior operations lead for the business.

What you'll own:

Programme and Camp Operations
End-to-end logistics and delivery of all Holiday Camps across Greater Manchester.
Site set-up, risk assessments, and incident handling to a consistently high standard.
Building out and owning our policies, procedures, and operational systems as the programme grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
