Premium Food & Beverage Retail Group | North West
Not every Operations Manager role is worth making a move for. This one is. We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's fastest-growing premium food and beverage retail brands, a business built on real craft, real care, and a genuine obsession with getting the details right. They're not slowing down either: new sites are opening at a serious pace, and the ambition behind the growth is real.
They're not looking for a caretaker. They want a leader who can walk into a site, raise the energy in the room, and leave every person there sharper than when they arrived. As Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of an area of 10 to 12 sites and turn good into brilliant: developing leaders, elevating standards, and driving results that actually move the needle across people, product, customer, and commercial performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a hands-on, out-in-the-business role, not a desk job. You'll be in sites, building real relationships, coaching managers up, and leaving every visit better than you found it.
The Role
- Turn good site managers into brilliant leaders, building a bench of talent this business can promote from for years to come
- Own operational excellence in every site you touch: production, quality, standards, availability, waste, all of it, done properly
- Make every guest experience genuinely count, using real customer insight to coach precision into every single visit
- Set the standard on safety, facilities, and audit readiness, and make new openings and refurbishments land smoothly
- Own your area's P&L like it's your own business: sales, profitability, labour, waste, forecasting
- Translate big-picture strategy into sharp, weekly priorities that site managers can actually run with

What We're Looking For
- Multi-site operations management experience from pubs, restaurants, QSR, or coffee.
- You're commercially sharp and genuinely people-first, the kind of leader who's happiest out on the floor rather than stuck behind a desk.
- You thrive on autonomy, move fast, and get a real kick out of watching a team level up under your leadership.
Why Join?
Because this isn't just another Operations Manager role. It's a seat on a genuine growth story, a business scaling hard while somehow still holding onto the craft and care that built it. You'll get real autonomy, real influence, and the chance to shape how this business operates as it grows. If you're ready to stop maintaining and start raising the bar, this is it.
