About the opportunity

Universal Partners is a fast-growing financial services business based in Canary Wharf, providing foreign exchange and international payment solutions to more than 2,400 corporate clients across the UK and beyond.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operational environment and help ensure the business continues to operate efficiently and effectively.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll play a key role in managing operational processes across payments, settlements, client service, reporting and process improvement. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of a broad remit, lead a small team and make a measurable impact within a growing business.

Working closely with teams across the organisation, you'll help drive operational excellence, improve efficiency and support the continued growth of the business.

In particular, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational running of the business.
  • Lead and develop a small operations team.
  • Manage payment and settlement activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Produce operational reporting and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and business partners.
  • Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Support operational projects and business growth initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to deliver excellent service and operational support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
