About Xplora
Xplora International has run international education programmes since 2017. Students come from around the world, and each programme mixes English-language learning, cultural immersion, project-based work and excursions, with students living in university accommodation.
The role
You'll run all operations across the company, from planning through to delivery. Most of your Summer 2027 work will be at our flagship New York centre at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where you'll be on-site for the programme.
What you'll do
- Own operational planning and delivery across all Xplora centres
- Manage university and accommodation partners: room allocation, check-in/out, facilities, contract specs
- Finalise programme timetables and book activities, excursions and suppliers
- Recruit, onboard and train campus managers and seasonal staff, and build staff rotas
- Own safeguarding, risk assessments, incident reporting and emergency procedures
- Coordinate catering, transport, arrivals and departures
- Be the main contact for group leaders and handle programme change requests
- Manage operational budgets, supplier payments and staff expenses
- Build and improve SOPs so operations can scale

What you'll bring
- Proven experience in the operations team of a summer school or residential programme for under-18s (required)
- Experience working with university accommodation partners
- Strong working knowledge of safeguarding and duty of care
- Calm, decisive problem-solving under pressure
- Comfortable managing budgets, suppliers and multiple teams at once
- Available to be based in New York for the full summer programme

- Experience running programmes in New York
- Experience with international groups and education agents
- Confident with Google Workspace and spreadsheets
What we offer
- Salary: £32,000-£35,000, with travel and accommodation covered during the New York summer programme.
