Operations Manager

A new chapter in informal luxury hospitality is coming to St Mawes. This exciting new hotel will bring 56 beautifully designed bedrooms, a vibrant café, and a relaxing spa experience to one of Cornwall’s most sought-after coastal destinations.

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join the team and help us create the kind of guest experience people genuinely remember.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves being at the heart of hotel life — visible, hands-on and working alongside the team to make sure every part of the guest journey feels effortless.

You’ll have responsibility for all guest facing areas of the hotel, and in the General Manager’s absence you’ll also oversee the Spa experience, ensuring standards, service and the overall guest journey remain seamless across the hotel.

We’re looking for someone who understands how important those first welcomes, memorable meals, thoughtful touches and smooth departures are in shaping a guest’s stay.

You’ll work closely with our General Manager to lead and develop the team, drive standards and make sure the hotel runs beautifully day to day.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
