About the Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of up to eight London locations within a fast-growing, premium QSR business.
This is a role for someone who understands what brilliant multi-site operations look like: operationally disciplined, commercially sharp and obsessed with consistently delivering great food, service and customer experiences.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and senior leadership team, you’ll take ownership of performance across your area, coaching General Managers, improving operational standards and ensuring every location delivers against the key commercial and operational measures that matter.

The Role
Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of up to eight locations across London, this is a highly visible role with real ownership and influence.

Close collaboration with People, Food, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain will be key, ensuring the operation remains connected, consistent and continually improving.
It’s a great opportunity to join an ambitious business at an exciting stage of its journey and play an important part in shaping and scaling a best-in-class operations function.

- Coaching, developing and challenging General Managers to build high-performing teams.
- Taking ownership of key operational KPIs including sales, labour, productivity, food quality, customer experience and stock management.

- Creating clear accountability across your area and ensuring agreed actions are delivered.
- Developing and improving operational processes, systems and ways of working.
- Supporting new site openings and menu launches.
- Leading key operational projects and initiatives.
- Working cross-functionally with People, Food, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Ensuring teams consistently deliver exceptional food quality and customer experiences.
- Building a culture of high performance, accountability, energy and fun.
- Representing your area's operational priorities and performance at head office level.
- Remaining close to the operation and providing practical support when challenges arise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

About You
Strong multi-site operations experience within premium QSR, fast casual, food-to-go or another high-volume branded food business will be essential.
This role needs someone who understands the pace, complexity and commercial realities of running multiple locations, with the ability to create consistency and accountability while retaining the energy and personality that make individual teams successful.
At the heart of that is great leadership: knowing how to coach, challenge and get the very best from General Managers, giving them the confidence and ownership to run exceptional businesses.
You’ll Bring
- Proven multi-site operational leadership experience, ideally within premium QSR, fast casual or food-to-go.
- Experience managing a portfolio of high-volume locations.
- A strong track record of coaching and developing General Managers.
- Excellent commercial awareness and confidence working with operational KPIs.
- Strong understanding of labour management, sales performance, productivity, stock and cost control.
- A relentless focus on food quality, operational standards and customer experience.
- Experience developing and implementing operational processes and systems.
- Experience supporting new site openings and/or menu launches.
- The ability to identify performance issues quickly and turn insight into practical action.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working cross-functionally with head office teams.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
- The energy and resilience to succeed within a fast-paced, growing business.
What Success Looks Like
Success will be visible in the performance, consistency and culture of every location across the area.
General Managers will feel confident owning their businesses, leading strong teams and making commercially sound decisions. Clear expectations, effective coaching and genuine accountability will create an environment where people know what great looks like and are motivated to deliver it.

Operationally, the fundamentals will be strong: consistently high standards, well-managed labour and productivity, excellent food quality and a customer experience that keeps people coming back.
Behind the scenes, processes and ways of working will continue to improve, making the operation simpler, more consistent and easier to scale as the business grows.
Ultimately, success means creating a group of high-performing locations where great food, brilliant people, exceptional customer experiences and strong commercial results all reinforce one another.
The Person Behind the Experience
We’re looking for someone ambitious, energetic and commercially minded who genuinely enjoys being close to the operation.
Comfortable moving between conversations with senior leadership, coaching General Managers and spending time in busy locations, this person will understand what is really happening across their area and know where their attention can make the biggest difference.
Attention to detail comes naturally. In a fast-paced premium QSR environment, speed, standards, consistency, labour, food quality and customer experience all matter, and strong operational leadership means keeping a close eye on all of them without losing sight of the bigger picture.
There’s a real builder mentality here too: spotting opportunities to improve performance, finding practical solutions and turning ideas into action rather than simply identifying the problem.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who sets high standards while remaining approachable and grounded. Someone who brings energy and personality to the role, enjoys developing people and takes performance seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
