About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations professional to lead the successful delivery of roofing projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems, strong project management expertise, and a commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgets, and on-site operations while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and team leader, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving operational excellence across all aspects of delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Collaborate with the pre-construction team to create project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.
  • Efficiently allocate labour, equipment, and materials to project sites, optimising resource utilisation.
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all roofing projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance, ensuring timely and quality project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, addressing inquiries, concerns, and change orders.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to maximise profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain accurate project records, prepare regular progress reports, and provide updates to senior management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
