Job Description: Operations Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient day-to-day operation of its Chesterfield and Sheffield offices.

The role will lead office administration, facilities, suppliers, health and safety, budgets and business support across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Chesterfield and Sheffield offices
- Manage and develop the Business Support and Legal Support teams across both locations
- Oversee office facilities, maintenance, security, equipment and workplace services
- Manage suppliers, contractors, procurement and service contracts
- Manage office budgets and expenditure, ensuring value for money
- Oversee archiving, file retrieval and confidential document destruction across two off-site facilities
- Lead new starter inductions and coordinate training and development activities
- Oversee reception, hospitality, events and meeting arrangements
- Ensure appropriate health and safety, risk management, data protection and business continuity procedures are maintained
- Coordinate audits, workstation assessments, insurance and permit renewals and emergency arrangements
- Act as the main point of contact for office-related matters, working with IT, HR, landlords and external suppliers
- Lead workplace improvement initiatives and operational projects
- Support effective workspace utilisation and continuous improvement

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Office Manager or in a similar role
- Experience managing office operations within a professional services environment
- Multi-site line management experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience managing budgets, procurement and supplier contracts
- Good understanding of facilities management and health and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional, proactive and highly organised approach
- Strong problem-solving, influencing and decision-making skills
