Role Overview

Lead a growing manufacturing operation through its next phase of development, driving operational excellence, team performance, and strategic execution. This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to influence business direction while delivering continuous improvement across an evolving production environment.

Client Details

My client is a well-established and growing specialist manufacturer operating within the automotive sector. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, the business has experienced significant growth and is now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help drive performance, efficiency, and scalability across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping operational strategy while ensuring the successful day-to-day delivery of manufacturing activities.

Description

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will take ownership of end-to-end operational performance across the factory. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to strategic planning, support business growth initiatives, provide operational insight to leadership, and drive lean manufacturing principles across the factory environment. Health & Safety, quality standards, employee development, and KPI management will all form a critical part of the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
