Operating for over 45 years, King & Moffatt Building Services provide complete Mechanical and Electrical services across all sectors of the construction industry including Industrial, Logistics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Mining, Healthcare, Commercial, Hotel & Leisure, High-End Residential, Public, and Energy.

Job Description
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all M&E projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Implement best practices in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability
Team Management
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Represent the company in high-level meetings and negotiations
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, quality standards, and industry codes
- Oversee audits and implement corrective actions where necessary
Financial Oversight
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in senior operations leadership within the M&E or building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, project delivery, and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience in budget management and P&L responsibility.
- Familiarity with UK building regulations, CDM, and health & safety standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across different regions.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSCS Managers Card, SMSTS, IOSH/NEBOSH) desirable.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in M&E project delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
