Position: Operations Manager
Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 a year, depending on experience
Contract: Full time, permanent
Location: London – on-site
Reporting to: Director, EducateU

The role
We are looking for an Operations Manager to become the central point of coordination across EducateU. You will work closely with our director and with the specialist people and teams who support the business, turning ideas into plans and plans into action. This is a rare opportunity for someone early in their career to take on real ownership from day one, learn directly from experienced people across a range of disciplines, and grow into a broader leadership role as EducateU scales. That early stage is exactly what makes this an interesting time to join.
What you will do
- Coordinate projects and priorities across the business, keeping everyone aligned on what matters most and by when.
- Act as a clear, reliable point of contact for the specialist people and partners who support EducateU, so communication flows smoothly in every direction.
- Help build simple, effective ways of working as the business grows, from onboarding new colleagues to tracking progress on key initiatives.
- Prepare clear updates for leadership on progress, challenges and opportunities.
- Support recruitment, administration, systems, marketing and the general running of the business.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish, spotting problems early and following through until they are resolved.

What you will bring
- Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable liaising with people at every level, including colleagues based in other countries.
- A genuine willingness to learn, take feedback well, and grow quickly into new responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle several priorities calmly.
- A proactive attitude and a real sense of ownership. You notice what needs doing and you do it.
- Some earlier experience in an operations, coordination, administration or project support role is useful, but not essential. We are looking for attitude and potential more than years on a CV.
- Based in the United Kingdom, with the flexibility to coordinate with colleagues working across different time zones.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, tech or relevant field.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
