Creative founder seeks someone with an operations or project-management background to provide executive-function support. This is delivered through structured Zoom sessions of 1–2 hours, totalling 4 hours a week. It's not a traditional VA/admin or delivery role.

What the role involves

  • Helping keep multiple workstreams in view, so nothing important drops out of sight and longer-term dependencies stay on the agenda alongside immediate deadlines
  • Helping prioritise competing tasks and agree clear next actions, and holding client to previously agreed priorities
  • Helping identify blockers and dependencies across technical, creative and other workflows, using structured questions that break a complex or overwhelming situation down into manageable next steps
  • Making sure client's scheduled monthly review of cashflow, upcoming income and pipeline actually happens, and prompting if it slips. Client carries out the review and interprets the position.
  • Revisiting previously agreed follow-ups each session, and prompting client to act when something has stalled, gone quiet or needs a response

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Background and skills

  • Experience in operations, project management, startups, SMEs or digital agencies
  • Comfortable working with founders and directors across several competing workstreams. Familiarity with live events, social media or long-form video production is a plus — it means less time spent setting context at the start of each session.
  • Strong structured questioning: able to get to grips with an unfamiliar technical or creative workflow quickly enough to help identify what's actually blocking progress
  • Able to help structure prioritisation around what matters now versus what can wait
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent professionals is useful but not essential. The key requirement is a strong operations/project-management mindset.
  • The right person is someone who can apply an operations and project-management way of working to a prompting and accountability role: structure, consistency and follow-through, so client can carry out their own responsibilities effectively.
