Operations Manager (Warehouse): Acton, London
About Dirac
Dirac Trading Group is building the next $100bn company for clearance stock: unsold, end-of-line, returned and slightly damaged goods sitting in brand and retailer warehouses. We find the right buyer for every item so less of it goes to waste.
We raised a VC round in April and have grown from ~£0 to £300k+ monthly revenue in September.
The Role
Scale our warehouse from ~2,000 units a day to 10,000+. You'll design and own quality control, check-in, pick-and-pack flow, staffing and training, and work with our tech team to build the internal systems the warehouse runs on.
Volumes are lumpy: a supplier can decide this is the week they clear three years of backlog. The job is to turn that stock into dispatched orders quickly, so the warehouse never overfills and cash flows back into the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
