OPERATIONS MANAGER VACANCY

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager, with the requirement to be a Registered Manager for PCAS, to work with colleagues to monitor and improve the quality, safety and experience of the support provided to our clients. The Operations Managers oversee and effectively manage a team of Service Managers, ensuring that quality services are delivered in a person-centred way that promotes dignity and respect, choice, inclusion, ability and equality for the people we support.

PCAS is proud to hold a Good CQC rating, reflecting our commitment to delivering safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services. We are looking for an experienced leader who can build on this success and drive continuous quality improvement across our services.

This role is critical in ensuring that services are safe, caring, responsive, effective and well led. As the Operations Manager, your duties will involve being the lead for ensuring compliance with health and social care regulations within the CQC assessment framework, seeking continuous improvement in CQC ratings, as well as being one of the safeguarding leads, ensuring good governance across operational service delivery and ensuring the highest standards of practice are being delivered.

The role overall involves developing and maintaining a culture of outcome-focused support, compliance with relevant legislation including the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activity) Regulations 2014, Care Quality Commission assessment framework and PCAS Kent's systems of governance.

You will be a knowledgeable, flexible and professional manager who is committed to supporting people to achieve the best possible outcomes through excellent leadership. To apply for this vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism and complex care needs, and be an established manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience within a similar setting. You will be able to represent the company at all levels, reflecting company values with internal and external stakeholders.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is essential, as is a full driving licence, as multi-site working is required, although the role is based at our Head Office in Faversham. There will be a requirement to take part in an on-call rota.
