Operations Manager – GF Yourself!
Help build the UK's next challenger food brand.
Full-time | Hybrid – London office + remote
About GF Yourself!
GF Yourself! exists to shake up the gluten-free market. We believe gluten-free food should be exciting, delicious, affordable, and easy to discover.
We launched in November 2025 with our gluten-free subscription box, and the response has exceeded expectations. We now have a growing customer base, a loyal community, and proven demand. Next comes the exciting part: launching our own-brand range, expanding into retail, growing D2C, developing B2B partnerships, and building one of the UK's most recognisable challenger food brands.
GF Yourself! is backed by Ideas Lab (www.ideaslab.co.uk), a venture builder that creates and scales ambitious startups. We've already secured £250k of pre-seed funding and are currently raising a £500k seed round to accelerate growth.
The Opportunity
This isn't a typical operations role. You'll be joining GF Yourself! at an exciting point in our journey: the business has proven demand, a growing customer base, and ambitious plans to expand beyond subscription boxes into own-brand products, retail, and new channels.
We’re looking for someone who wants to take real ownership of how the business operates. You'll be responsible for building the processes, systems, and supplier relationships that allow GF Yourself! to scale while maintaining the quality and customer experience that has made the brand successful so far.
You’ll work closely with the CEO, Ideas Lab team, and our partners, playing a key role in turning an early-stage startup into a well-run, scalable consumer brand. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving, and taking ownership - someone who wants their work to have a visible impact on the growth of a business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
