Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence and safety? Transdev Autonomous Services (TASGB) is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and oversee daily operations at our London depots.
About the Role
As our Operations Manager, you will act as the key liaison between Transdev and our clients. You will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team of drivers while ensuring that our daily operations remain safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations. You will champion our culture of professionalism and inclusivity, driving continuous process improvements across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day delivery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company and legislative standards.
- Team Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of drivers and Operations Supervisors, fostering a high-performance environment.
- Performance Management: Oversee conduct, attendance, and capability, ensuring standards are upheld consistently.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as an intermediary between the Senior Operations Manager and the shift Operations Supervisors; represent the team in client meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives and implement actions to drive performance metrics.
- Crisis Management: Respond to service issues, including incidents, outages, or rerouting, and oversee accident reporting and post-incident processes.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as an Operations Manager in Public Transport Operations.
- Demonstrable experience managing large driving teams in public transport.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a structured, people-focused approach.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in reporting data.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and responsiveness for 24/7 operations.
