Belderbos Landscapes is an established landscape and garden design company; building and maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces in London and the Home Counties.
The company is an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), offering growth and progression.
The role
The Operations Manager is a key role in assisting the two directors and advancing the company’s overall organisation, productivity and business development.
This role will enable the directors to dedicate time and focus on further adding long-term value to the business performance. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have an intrinsic understanding of how to support the business, driving action and progress, and shaping company culture.

This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 28 hours/week), offering flexibility to suit the right candidate. The Operations Manager will be predominantly based in our head office in Colliers Wood, with the option to work one day a week from home.
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum (FTE), dependent on experience. Note: Final salary will be pro-rated based on agreed weekly hours.
The responsibilities
- Lead the HR function, ensuring effective people policies and practices
- Manage SafeHR employee management software, reporting and record keeping
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and visa sponsorship
- Line manage Operations Support Technician
- Contact clients for feedback to improve practice
- Work to further imbed health and safety across the company; coordinate internal H&S training days
- Manage office facilities, suppliers and services
- Source new tenants to rent space in the head office building
- Undertake ad-hoc projects for the Directors
