National Operations Manager Required!

Our client is a leading provider of fire protection solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-performance fire protection systems for various industries.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of nationwide projects involving the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke fire-rated cabling containment and ductwork systems.

  • Salary £60,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

National Operations Manager - Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initial planning through to completion.
  • Coordinate design, manufacturing and installation activities.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers and site teams to ensure programmes and deadlines are met.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, logistics and installation teams.
  • Attend client meetings, site meetings and site inspections.
  • Ensure all projects comply with health & safety requirements, including CDM regulations.
  • Ensure risk assessments, method statements and other project documentation are in place.
  • Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
  • Manage and resolve client queries, variations and contractual issues.
  • Source and coordinate suitably qualified installation teams.
  • Lead and support site supervisors, project coordinators and installation teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Proven experience in operations or project management within construction, building services or specialist manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge of MEP/HVAC systems, fire-rated ductwork and/or containment systems.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, installation and site operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients and managing multiple projects.
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements and construction regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects across the UK.
