Zest4Talent are recruiting an Operations Manager for a growing multisite adventure sports company. You will be primarily based at their site near Salisbury but will be overseeing operational processes for 2 further UK sites. You will be working a 5 day week which will include weekend work during their peak operational periods. A competitive salary of up to £60k pa is on offer.
The ideal person for this Operations Manager role will have the following:
- A dynamic and confident personality with exceptional communication skills
- You will be highly organised and process driven
- You will be an independent thinker with the ability to make decisions
- Your leadership and influencing skills will be fundamental in driving the team forward in operational excellence
- You will have a customer centric approach with an eye on continuous improvement and enhancing operational efficiencies
- Previous experience working with and managing budgets is essential
- A background or interest in adventure sport is highly advantageous but not a pre-requisite

The successful candidate will have a background in Operational management and be part of the Senior Management Team. Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing the company strategy and communicating to the wider operational team
- Working closely with the existing operational manager to ensure continuity and strength-based dissection of key responsibilities
- Be responsible for the operational budget for the company and forecasting future expenditure to support smooth operational performance
- Ensuring all operational equipment is ordered and fully functional in line with the 12-month usage forecasts across all 3 sites in the UK
- Attending Senior Management meetings to discuss future strategy and plan to implement
- Find successful resolutions to challenges in conjunction with your wider team and keep open lines of communication with the management team
- Working in collaboration with the Team Managers to manage staff rotas and full coverage
- Training and development of staff including working closely with their apprenticeship programme
- Plan and coordinate all recruitment of operational staff
