Kinaxia are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team at their site in Telford.
The role of the Operations Manager will be to support the [Managing Director/ General Manager] overseeing agreed business operations for the profitable development and growth of the business within the broad strategy set by the Board.

About The Job
- Work closely with your colleagues in the execution of company business strategies to meet goals agreed with the Managing Director and the board;
- Support the communication and implementation of Company and Kinaxia Group policies and regulatory guidelines throughout the business as cascaded by Kinaxia HQ and make certain they are being adhered to at all times to safeguard the Company's compliance and ensure a consistent approach is being delivered across the Group;
- Assist with the development and motivation of staff to create a workforce with the relevant skill set, where potential is being developed, effective succession plans are in place and employees are contributing to the overall performance of the business;
- Assist with the management of resources and costs effectively to maximise the probability of the Company;
- Support the operational performance of the Company by managing the day to day operation in accordance with agreed process and procedures to deliver high customer service levels;
- Consistently analyze the current process and procedures and implement continuous improvements to drive commercial compliance and effectiveness.

- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)= or equivalent would be desirable
- Working knowledge of the Highway Code, EU tachograph requirements, Working Time Regulations, Road Transport Regulations
- Transport and warehousing industry
- Working knowledge of transport and warehouse management systems
- Proven operational experience of logistics services
- Management of multi-functional teams
- Experience of analysing and solving business problems
- Enhancing and developing customer satisfaction and business growth
