Operations & Logistics Manager

Location: Walsall
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on experience

We’re looking for an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to take responsibility for a busy warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring customers receive the right products, in the right place and at the right time.

It’s a role with plenty of ownership, combining hands-on operational leadership with the opportunity to improve processes and help prepare the business for its next stage of growth.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation, lead the team and make sure warehouse, transport and fulfilment activities work effectively together.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, transport and logistics operation, making sure customer orders go out accurately and on time
  • Lead and support the operational team, keeping everyone clear on priorities, expectations and what good performance looks like
  • Keep a close eye on stock and inventory, making sure goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately
  • Work with internal teams and external transport providers to plan deliveries, solve issues and keep things moving
  • Take the lead on health and safety across the operation, making sure equipment, processes and working practices remain safe and compliant
  • Use KPIs to understand how the operation is performing, spotting issues early and putting improvements in place where needed
  • Look for better, simpler ways of working, improving efficiency and ensuring the operation can support the continued growth of the business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
