Description
The interim Operations Manager/Director is responsible for ensuring the optimal running of this manufacturing site. Responsibilities include:
- Head up a team of c.60 people across manufacturing, engineering, distribution and installation
- Recruit, train, coach and develop this team to perform to the best of their abilities
- Help to install a new ERP system to improve business capability
- Develop and monitor a suite of KPIs to enable business success
- Review manufacturing procedures to drive efficiencies, costs, quality and delivery

Profile
The successful Operations Manager/Director should have:
- Proven experience in an Operational Leadership role within the industrial manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyse data and implement actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in managing cross-departmental workflows.
- Availability to start a new role immediately.

Job Offer
- Daily rate of £300-600/day dependent on the level of experience, inside IR35.
- Temporary contract until the end of year initially, offering flexibility and an opportunity to make a tangible impact.
- Base in the Sheffield area.
