We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive the growth of our High Voltage (HV), EV Charging and Gas Distribution Network (GDN) services across the Energy and Water sectors.

This senior leadership role combines business development, operational management and strategic account growth. You'll be responsible for expanding existing and newly awarded frameworks, strengthening client relationships, identifying market opportunities and converting pipeline into sustainable revenue growth. While retaining accountability for operational performance, your primary focus will be business growth, framework expansion, service development and people leadership.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the growth of HV, EV Charging and GDN services across key frameworks and markets.
  • Develop and deliver business growth strategies across regulated utilities, power and infrastructure sectors.

  • Lead strategic work-winning activities, including client engagement, solution development and bid support.
  • Collaborate across the wider business to maximise growth and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide leadership to operational teams, developing capability, succession plans and a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure resources, systems and delivery models support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
  • Monitor market trends and framework performance to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Champion safety, compliance, quality and customer excellence across all activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
