Working with a wholesale bank seeking an Operations Officer to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Treasury Operations who is looking to broaden their exposure across banking operations, clearing, reconciliation and regulatory reporting. This is a 6 month contract, requiring you to be 5 days in a London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage transaction flows across Treasury products including FX/MM, derivatives, IRS, securities, CDs and bonds.
  • Handle trade booking, processing, settlement, confirmations and reconciliations across Operations.
  • Investigate and resolve breaks, discrepancies and payment issues, liaising with internal teams and external clients.
  • Support transaction reporting requirements under MiFID II and EMIR, alongside daily/weekly/monthly MI.
  • Maintain static data, SSIs and transaction set-ups, while supporting wider operational projects and process improvements.

  • 3+ years’ experience within Treasury Operations across UK markets.
  • Experience across transaction processing, settlements, confirmations and reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to start within a month
