Operations Officer
Location: Jubilee Campus
Salary: £26,908 to £28,890 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience.

Are you looking for a role which underpins world leading research and teaching, and gives you the chance to make a positive difference?
As an Operations Officer in the Core Operations team, you will work flexibly across a range of processes and activities, to support the smooth operation of buildings, finances, Human Resources, governance, senior leadership team support and Health and Safety.
You will:
- Complete room checks and request minor works and repairs.
- Support office moves, including setting up workstations.
- Provide reception cover.
- Order equipment and maintain the asset register.
- Provide administrative support for finance-related processes.
- Undertake the role of Health and Safety Assistant.
- Provide administrative and operational support for HR-related processes.
- Support the senior leadership team, with tasks including organising meetings, travel bookings and disseminating information.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement work in the Core Operations Team and wider School.

You will be someone who can thrive in a busy and varied role and who enjoys both desk-based and hands-on tasks.
You will have A-levels or equivalent, or proven work experience in a relevant comparable role. You will possess strong IT, communication, and time-management skills, and be able to prioritise and manage your workload effectively.

This role is available as a permanent contract. Hours are 21.75 per week and there can be some flexibility with the working pattern. The role holder will need to start by 9 am some mornings. The role will be predominantly based in the Dearing Building on Jubilee Campus, with limited scope for home working.
