Salary: $65,124 - $66,570 (Plus 12.5% Super)

About the Role:
The Food Services Department provides meals and beverages to patients, staff and visitors across Canberra Health Services and prepares approximately 3,000 meals each day for Canberra Health Services and National Capital Private Hospital.
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Patient Services team at Canberra Hospital in Casual On-Call HSO2/3 positions. Successful applicants will be required to work a range of morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
In this role, you will prepare and deliver patient meals and beverages in accordance with food safety and nutritional guidelines, distribute and collect meals from wards, and operate and clean food service equipment, including industrial dishwashers.

We are looking for candidates with strong communication and customer service skills, a flexible and reliable approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Relevant food industry qualifications and experience in a professional food services setting will be highly regarded.
Note: Appointment to the position may be made based on written application only.
A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill similar roles/ future vacant positions at the same level across CHS.
