Liverpool Chiropractic Clinic is looking for an experienced Operations & People Manager to join our leadership team and take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy, established clinic.
We have a brilliant team, a strong patient base and an ambitious business that continues to grow.
With our Practice Manager preparing to take maternity leave, we're looking for someone who can come into the business, learn how we operate and become the person who keeps the clinic organised, the team supported and the day-to-day operation running smoothly.
This is a varied management role combining people leadership, operations, team development and hands-on clinic management.
What You'll Be Doing
A major part of the role is managing and supporting our team.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day clinic team
- Conducting regular 1-to-1 meetings
- Supporting team development and performance
- Setting clear expectations and following up agreed actions
- Helping team members achieve their KPIs
- Coaching and training staff
- Running role-play and communication training
- Supporting practitioners with agreed patient communication and sales processes
- Managing performance issues professionally when required
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and probation reviews
- Managing formal HR processes when necessary
You'll also oversee the operational side of the clinic, including:
- Staff rotas
- Holidays and absence
- Organising cover
- Front-of-house standards
- Payroll administration
- Memberships and direct debits
- Clinic statistics and KPI reporting
- Complaints and patient queries
- Recurring administrative tasks
- Making sure agreed systems and processes are followed

Although this is a management role, we're a hands-on team.

We're particularly interested in someone who enjoys the people-management side of leadership.
You'll need to be comfortable supporting people, developing them and recognising good performance - but also having clear and professional conversations when standards aren't being met.
Experience
Previous healthcare experience would be useful, but it isn't essential.
We're much more interested in finding someone with strong management experience.

Experience managing a team, conducting 1-to-1s, managing rotas, dealing with customer issues and working within a busy service-based business would be particularly valuable.
