Operations Manager - Performance, People & Operational Excellence
Fixed term Contract to January 2018
£45,000 to £55,000 per annum

This is an opportunity to lead operational excellence within one of the UK's largest and most complex government-funded humanitarian services.
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager who combines exceptional people leadership with a passion for operational performance, process improvement and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in ensuring a nationally significant service continues to deliver exceptional outcomes while preparing for future change.
Working across multiple operational teams, you'll create the structure, accountability and performance culture needed to consistently deliver against demanding government contractual requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving operational efficiency and using data to drive better decision making.

What you'll be doing
- Leading day-to-day operational performance across multiple service areas.
- Developing efficient operating structures with clear accountability.
- Ensuring the right people are in the right roles to maximise performance.
- Driving operational efficiency without compromising service quality.
- Embedding continuous improvement across teams.
- Monitoring contractual performance, KPIs and service quality.
- Using operational data and management information to identify trends and opportunities.
- Supporting managers through coaching, development and performance management.
- Strengthening governance, compliance and operational controls.
- Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to improve service delivery.
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced operational leader with a track record of improving performance within large, complex environments.
Experience could include:
