About the Role

The Operations Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining a realistic, achievable Production/ Fit Out plan that meets customer requirements and internal targets. Working closely with sales, production, fit out, purchasing, and finance, the role coordinates orders through internal processes, manages capacity and supply constraints, and communicates progress to Directors. The planner plays a key role in delivering a high-quality customer experience through effective planning, coordination, and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain realistic production plans that meet internal targets and customer delivery dates
  • Planning output across multiple departments
  • Prioritise and organize orders to complete any time-critical orders placed by customers
  • Balance priorities across departments to ensure customer demand is met
  • Good level of communication between all teams
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to align design, production, and delivery activities
  • Identify and manage capacity, subcontractor, and supply-chain constraints that impact schedules
  • Expedite internal processes to ensure timely planning input and order progression
  • Communicate plans, changes, and risks clearly to internal teams
  • Contribute to delivering a first-class customer experience
  • Issue and maintain accurate delivery dates daily
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure delivery commitments are achieved
  • Proactively manage risks to delivery performance
