🚀 We're Hiring: Operational Readiness Specialist (Design & Transition)
Do you enjoy bringing structure to complex projects and making sure everything is in place before go-live?
We're looking for an Operational Readiness Specialist to join our Design & Transition team at Maintel. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on collaboration, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working across technical and operational teams to deliver successful service transitions.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring new and changed managed services are fully operationally ready before they move into live support. From producing high-quality transition documentation and operational handover packs to coordinating readiness with technical and operational teams, you'll help ensure every service is set up for long-term success.

- Producing and maintaining service transition and operational readiness documentation
- Coordinating operational handovers across Customer Operations, Technology Operations and Service Desk teams
- Supporting Early Life Support (ELS) activities following go-live
- Developing runbooks, SOPs and knowledge articles
- Driving continuous improvement across our operational readiness processes and documentation
- Working closely with project, implementation and engineering teams to deliver a right-first-time transition experience
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in Operational Readiness, Service Transition, Service Delivery or Technical Documentation within an MSP, IT Services or Telecommunications environment
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Transition and Early Life Support principles
- Experience creating clear, structured operational documentation such as runbooks, SOPs or service acceptance packs
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with UC&C, Contact Centre, Security & Connectivity technologies or an ITIL Foundation certification would be an advantage but isn't essential.
