The Role - Operations Specialist - Credit and Loan Products
You will act as a key point of coordination between front office, operations, compliance and international stakeholders, ensuring the smooth execution of banking transactions and client activities. Responsibilities will include:
- Be a key support function to the credit and Loan product team
- Supporting corporate client onboarding and KYC processes
- Coordinating lending transactions across multiple product areas
- Monitoring transaction timelines, funding requirements and deal execution
- Managing operational queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting customers with banking product requests
- Maintaining accurate operational records and documentation
- Assisting with audits, regulatory reviews and process improvements
- Contributing to projects and operational change initiatives

About You
The successful candidate for this Operations Specialist - Credit and Loan Products is likely to have:
- A minimum of 5 years' banking operations experience within a corporate, wholesale or international banking environment
- Experience gained within a smaller banking team or London branch of a larger international bank
- Broad exposure across banking operations rather than a highly siloed background
- Strong experience supporting loan products, corporate lending, credit facilities and associated operational processes
- Knowledge of client onboarding, KYC and operational controls
- Experience managing transactions throughout the full operational lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support the wider team where required
Candidates from backgrounds similar to lending operations, credit administration, corporate banking operations or loan operations environments are likely to be well suited to the position, particularly those with experience of bilateral and syndicated lending, onboarding and lifecycle management.
