Operations Strategy Associate
About the Role
This is a high-impact, generalist operations role designed for adaptable problem-solvers who enjoy tackling a wide range of business challenges. You’ll analyze data, improve processes, build scalable workflows, and lead strategic initiatives that directly influence customers and business performance. The role offers exposure to Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams. You may work on analytics, automation, AI adoption, operational transformation, or even team leadership depending on business priorities and your strengths. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where initiative, curiosity, and practical problem-solving are highly valued. It’s an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects while developing broad experience across a growing technology organization.
Accountabilities
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build dashboards, reports, analytical models, and other tools that support informed business decisions.
- Research, evaluate, and implement technologies such as AI solutions, automation tools, and internal platforms to improve operational effectiveness.
- Design and improve processes, workflows, and operating procedures to increase efficiency, quality, scalability, and customer experience.
- Lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives from planning through execution, working with Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other teams.
- Identify root causes of operational challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving payment processes, customer workflows, and operational performance.
- Evaluate and onboard external technology or service providers where they can improve customer-facing operations.
- Develop predictive or analytical models that help teams identify risks and take proactive action.
- Depending on business needs and individual strengths, take responsibility for an Operations team and improve its performance, quality, and workflows.
- Adapt responsibilities and priorities as business needs evolve, taking ownership of the projects where you can have the greatest impact.

Requirements
- 2+ years of professional or internship experience in areas such as Strategy, Business Operations, Product Operations, Program Management, Consulting, Business Analytics, or another cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems through process improvement, workflow design, automation, or scalable systems.
- Strong data analysis capabilities with hands-on experience using SQL, Python, or comparable analytical tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and align stakeholders across teams.
- Deep curiosity and a first-principles approach to problem-solving, with a focus on understanding root causes rather than treating symptoms.
- A hands-on, investigative mindset: you are comfortable testing products yourself, reviewing operational workflows, speaking with customers or frontline teams, and validating assumptions directly.
- Resourcefulness, adaptability, and confidence working across different types of problems and responsibilities.
- A strong sense of ownership and willingness to take initiative without waiting for a predefined playbook.

- Compensation: $50,000–$80,000, with individual offers determined by factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, and geographic location.
