Operations Supervisor – Huws Gray Newmarket

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Operations Supervisor to lead a team of yard operatives, manage operations, and provide great customer service at our Newmarket branch.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating and overseeing transport & fleet operations, ensuring accurate that get to our customers on time
- Supporting, monitoring and communicating with your team to keep things running efficient
- Maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external contacts across the supply chain
- Providing great customer service while dealing with our customers, whether that is over the phone or on our counter
- Managing health and safety practices to ensure a safe and tidy working environment
- Ensuring branch policies and compliance standards are met
- Overseeing operations including work allocation, stock counter, site management, setting and communicating objectives, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving problems
