We’re Hiring | Operations Supervisor
Tiptree Medical Centre is looking for an experienced, organised, and proactive Operations Supervisor to join our management team and play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our practice.
This is a varied and influential position with responsibility for supporting the effective running of our reception and administrative functions, while leading and developing the teams responsible for delivering them.
The successful candidate will oversee areas including:
- Leadership and development of reception and administration teams
- Clinical and non-clinical rota coordination
- Operational workflows and administrative processes
- Staff training, appraisals, and day-to-day HR support
- Patient access and reception systems
- QOF recall administration and associated processes
- Significant Event Review coordination and follow-up
- Practice claims and key operational information
- Continuous review and improvement of systems and processes

We are particularly interested in someone who is confident leading people, comfortable taking ownership, and able to identify opportunities to improve how services are delivered.
Previous NHS or general practice experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We also welcome candidates with strong supervisory, operational, or people-management experience from other healthcare settings or sectors who can demonstrate transferable skills.

We are a friendly, innovative, and busy GP practice caring for approximately 12,000 patients in north-east Essex.
Our multidisciplinary team includes GP Partners, salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, practice nurses, HCAs, clinical pharmacists, and a dedicated reception and administrative team.
