Customer Operations Supervisor
The Customer Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of daily port and customer service operations. The role leads frontline teams, coordinates vessel turnarounds, manages operational resources, and ensures excellent customer service standards are always maintained. The postholder will monitor performance, support staff development, manage operational disruptions, and ensure compliance with health and safety, security, and company procedures. Working closely with internal departments, ferry operators, contractors, and external stakeholders, the Customer Operations Supervisor plays a key role in delivering a safe, reliable, and customer-focused operation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Supporting the Cluster Port Manager with port projects
- Overseeing annual leave
- Overseeing mid and end of year reviews
- Coordinating sickness review meetings
- Acting as Load controller for Isle of Man Sailings
- Provide on the ground support for Isle of Man Operations

The Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and leads by example, creating a positive and productive working environment.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Can make confident decisions and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Has the ability to motivate, develop, and manage team performance while addressing issues professionally and fairly.
- Is highly organised, proactive, and committed to maintaining safety, compliance, and high operational standards
Desirable
- Full UK Driving license
- Right to work in the UK
- Able to obtain security clearance
