About The Role:

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30

This is a mobile role covering the East of England.

Role Overview:

The Operations Supervisor is a mobile worker position responsible for delivering high-quality workplace services within the Cadent portfolio on a number of sites. This includes managing cleaning, reception, security, contractors, catering, and meeting room services to ensure a professional, safe, and welcoming experience for employees and visitors.

What You'll do:

  • Oversee daily soft/ hard services operations including Front of house and contractors
  • Ensure office areas, meeting rooms, and communal spaces are maintained to a high corporate standard
  • Supervise reception and front-of-house teams to deliver a professional client-facing experience
  • Deliver and maintain all staff training in line with company policy
  • Ensure staff eLearning is up to date and completed
  • Coordinate meeting room setups, events, and hospitality services
  • Manage external vendors and contractors, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance
  • Conduct routine inspections of cleanliness, presentation, and service quality
  • Handle employee and client service requests, feedback, and complaints promptly
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Monitor stock levels of office consumables (e.g., refreshments, cleaning supplies)
  • Support space planning activities such as desk moves and office reconfigurations
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and service logs
  • Managing staff holidays RTW, arranging sick cover Holiday cover were needed
  • Cover front of house duties when needed
  • Dealing with day-to-day request of stakeholders
  • Be familiar with internal applications – Safety Culture, Kalidus, Intelex for the completion of audits and staff appraisals.
  • Take ownership of incident control packs for each site within the region (e.g., fire evac plans disaster recovery plans)
  • Flexible working times when required
  • Site based only
  • Cover cleaning on site when necessary
  • Follow any reasonable request by the Regional Manager

Who you’ll be:

Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities or workplace services
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail, especially in presentation and cleanliness
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and service streams
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with office systems (room booking tools, helpdesk systems, etc.)

Education And Experience

  • Familiar with Microsoft office based programs
  • Typically 2–5+ years of experience in soft services or workplace operations
