Job Description
Operations Supervisor (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £35,090.16 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.30-17.00, Monday to Friday

At Arvato, we’re expanding and are excited to be opening our new site in Wellingborough. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, playing a key role in leading our warehouse operation and ensuring exceptional service for our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys developing high-performing teams while driving operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing
As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading a team to safely deliver daily operational targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity and customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team to achieve operational KPIs.
- Driving a positive culture focused on safety, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring productivity, quality and service levels to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Managing staffing levels, performance, attendance and employee development.
- Working collaboratively with internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Supporting process improvements and implementing best practice across the operation.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Producing and analysing operational reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be an enthusiastic people leader with experience supervising warehouse or logistics operations.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution leadership role.
- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience using SAP warehouse management system desirable.
- Experience of leading MHE -VNA teams
