About The Role…

Ipsum Water is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to support our operations across London and the South East. Reporting to the Project & Planning Managers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engineers, technicians, vehicles, plant, and equipment, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of customer service.

This is a key leadership role where you will carry out site audits, monitor operational performance, support workforce development, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

As an Operations Supervisor you will…

  • Manage the daily activities of engineers and technicians across multiple sites.
  • Oversee vehicles, plant, equipment, and operational issues arising from site activities.
  • Monitor team performance against Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safe systems of work are followed.
  • Carry out frontline people management activities including return-to-work interviews and investigations.
  • Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained and operated correctly.
  • Implement and monitor company policies, procedures, and improvement plans.
  • Ensure incidents, accidents, and near misses are reported and investigated appropriately.
  • Work with management teams to coordinate and plan operational
