Operations Support Coordinator

If so, you could be the newest addition to our team as an Operations Support Coordinator.

About the role
Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, you'll provide vital administrative and operational support across a range of business functions. Acting as a key point of contact for third-party hauliers, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments, you'll help ensure the smooth running of transport, compliance, facilities, and commercial activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Acting as the central point of contact for third-party hauliers, including supplier onboarding and relationship management
- Supporting transport operations by resolving queries, managing self-billing processes, and maintaining cost information within operational systems
- Managing proof of delivery (POD), CMR, invoice, and job-costing queries across UK and international operations
- Maintaining compliance records, including insurance documentation, licences, driver handbooks, and supplier agreements
- Supporting facilities management, including maintenance coordination, purchase orders, contractor management, and general site requirements
- Assisting with H&S administration, including training records, permits, RAMS, and building compliance documentation
- Producing KPI updates and supporting wider business functions with operational and administrative requirements

About you
A background in transport, logistics, or operational administration would be advantageous. You'll be highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Good Microsoft Office skills are essential, along with confidence working across different systems and administrative processes.
You'll thrive in this role if you're a strong communicator with excellent people skills and enjoy building relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues. You'll be comfortable working independently while also contributing as part of a wider team. A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing business needs will help you succeed in this fast paced and varied role.
