Operations Support Manager

We’ve got a great opportunity to join the team as an Operations Support Manager within Financial Care Team supporting our Credit Card Operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Operational Support Manager to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our Integration Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring operational activities remain aligned with programme objectives while maintaining a focus on business performance, customer outcomes, and continuous improvement.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

This is a 24-month secondment opportunity.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Leeds, Gosforth or Glasgow office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
