As an Operations Support Specialist based in Chesterfield, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for local operational system queries and issues
  • Supporting and troubleshooting local operational systems, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Supporting system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Train and coach end-users to support effective and consistent system use.
  • Produce operational reporting to support day-to-day activity and decision making
  • Identify recurring operational and system issues and feed these into the wider Operations Improvement agenda

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand operational data and issues
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or analytical information to non-technical colleagues
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office applications, with confidence working with operational data
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma or structured root cause analysis
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience in operations, business analysis, data/systems or a related field
