Operations Support Specialist – SAP / Supply Chain
Job Location: Remote in Swindon, UK
Job Duration: 12 months
About the Role
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to join our Operations team.
In this role, you will support supply chain operations, customer order management, reporting, pricing, and backlog management. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, customers, and distributors to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with SAP, Excel, data, customers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Supply Chain
- Manage customer orders and order backlog using SAP.
- Perform order splitting, order updates, hold resolution, and fulfillment activities.
- Support supply allocation based on availability and operational requirements.
- Monitor backlog and proactively identify and escalate issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order and supply-related problems.
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain and update regular operational and supply reports.
- Use Microsoft Excel to analyze, reconcile, and maintain operational data.
- Support reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
- Ensure data is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and data processes.

Pricing Support
- Support pricing activities, including price loading and maintenance.
- Validate pricing information on customer orders.
- Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Work with Sales and Finance to ensure approved pricing is accurately reflected in orders.
- Experience with Model N or a similar pricing system is a plus.
Customer & Distributor Support
- Act as an operational point of contact for customer and distributor order-related questions.
- Respond to customer requests professionally and in a timely manner.
- Work with customers, distributors, Sales, and internal operations teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Process Improvement
- Support logistics and operational documentation.
- Help improve communication and operational processes.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in operations, supply chain, order management, or customer operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, preferably in order management or supply chain operations.
- Good to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred.
- Experience with pricing systems such as Model N is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
