Come and make a difference at Karbon as an Operations Surveyor

We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as an Operations Surveyor in our Responsive Repairs Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that's making a real difference in people's lives.

About The Role

As a Property Services Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will involve carrying out damp and repair inspections in tenanted properties and recommending and arranging appropriate solutions. You will oversee customer permission requests and will liaise with key stakeholders on day-to-day repairs. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our properties, as well as the seamless ordering and procurement of necessary materials.

Additionally, your support to the Operational Manager will be essential in coordinating and executing maintenance projects efficiently. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards, we invite you to apply and be a part of our dynamic property services team.

About You

The Operations Surveyor will be responsible for undertaking a whole range of maintenance surveys.

You will need to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, identifying repair requirements, preparing reports and schedules of work, reporting and logging repairs, ordering materials, etc.

This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication and customer service skills, a committed team approach, and a thorough understanding of current building practices in what is a fast-moving repairs and maintenance environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
